LORE - The Twins (Amber & Rose)
- Origin:
- The Twins story begins in a research vessel. The G.A received an alerted SOS distress call from a ship in the middle of space. Upon discovery, the ship was completely powerless (No life support) and slowly drifting through space. When searching the ship for its crew or anything that caused the distress call, they found nothing but piles of ash and dust. At first they thought it was a trap, an abandoned ship placed in the middle of nowhere in order to bait the G.A. However, before leaving, two cries were heard, echoing through different parts of the spaceship. Through further inspection, they found two children, who looked a lot different to any race they'd seen before. More "human" like than the Ritual race, of course never having seen a baby from the Ritual Faction before, they just assumed that's how they started off. Someone else had other ideas. Watching through the G.A visual recording devices, the higher ups of the G.A had received a command to retrieve the children immediately and without harm. After being taken in and handed to the higher ups, the children were inspected by the Grandmaster of the G.A known as Barih. He labelled them as "Two mutations more than likely of Ritual descent that resembled the original humans from the time before." and as such, commanded that they were drafted into the G.A and made "Legal" recruits at an instant. For the first 10 years inside the G.A, The Twins, named Amber & Rose by the Grandmaster were taken under his wing and trained by him or through him exclusively.
- Training:
- Combat:
- The Twins were trained in a variety of hand to hand combat techniques and various forms of martial arts from "before" that are no longer available today. Barih set them in a "real" simulation in which they pain they felt was real. The simulations were against multiple entities of different races found throughout the universe. Although they were both seen by most that HAD seen them as the same person and were not surprised they both excelled in hand to hand combat, they both developed different fighting styles - While Amber had more precise strikes, going for critical weak points, Rose was more of a "Dramatic/Cinematic" fighter - striking hard but with style, usually toying with her opponents.
After exceeding and no longer being challenged by simulation training, the Grandmaster brought in actual savage specimens of the races shown in the simulation - how they had turned savage the Twins didn't know (although it was assumed that they were forced into this mental state through torture). These specimens were out to kill and so these fights were truly life or death. The Twins started off rough, getting hit and losing blood, although still winning. Eventually though, to the Grandmasters dismay, they started seeing this more as sport than a life or death battle. He began keeping a closer eye on The Twins personalities and how they were treated, so that they wouldn't use killing as a common option as well as becoming corrupt and ruthless.
Eventually, the elite inside the G.A were tasked with fighting The Twins. It was like fighting a trained group of ninjas. Eventually however, the Twins overcame this challenge and starting winning fights against the G.A elite regularly. They assumed at this point that they were at their peak. It was at this point that they were introduced to their final and hardest challenge in real combat.
The Grandmaster. Only ONE hit was needed to win. EASY, they thought. No problem. Although once they began, they realized that fighting the Grandmaster was like fighting the G.As trump card, if the card literally jumped off the table and shot the other players. It was like trying to eat an entire towns Christmas feast with nothing but a small plastic teaspoon. It was like shoving a toothpick down your dickhole. Basically it was hell. It took what felt like years to get anywhere near him. It was like Chuck Norris riding a T-Rex that had shotguns for arms on the moon. It was here they learned the art of teamwork. By joining together as a team, becoming completely fluid and eventually become so synchronized that they were able to work together with no set up or discussion, they finally were both able to land ONE hit on the Grandmaster (albeit a very ineffective one). They were exhausted and sore, but congratulated by Barih for passing their combat training at the highest of levels. They were now the best "warrior" operatives inside the G.A. However with combat done, new challenges were awakened.
- Willpower:
- At first seen as torture or punishment, this training was used in order to enhance the mind and willpower of the Twins, making sure they would never crack under pressure and would be able to handle ANY sort of trick an opponent would throw at them. It started by subjecting them to all kinds of illusions, showing them the greatest fears and dangers throughout the universe, showing them the death of not only themselves but their sister. Forcing their minds to not only completely disregard these illusions, but also give them the ability to see through them completely and break them. This willpower training was also being used to heighten the majority of their senses, and install in them no sense of fear or doubt.
After this, came immunities. The Twins were subjected to all sorts of radiation, in order to heighten their immune systems, as well as pain tolerance and understanding of how radiation can be used against people and how to avoid it. They were also "treated" to a new kind of radiation, one created through a large secret supply of Linkium before the Linkium Rush began. They were also tested in a variety of poisons, having the antidote for all currently known poisons injected via a new machine into their DNA, giving them immunity to all known poisons found throughout the universe. Their minds were then fortified against aphrodisiacs and every kind of hypnotic incense taken from wild species and those found in general chemical form (such as Chloroform).
According to G.A records, their Willpower training was completed right here. Although that's not entirely true. The Grandmaster conducted, in top secret, experimentation of Light and Dark matter by exposing the Twins to them. Giving them other "specific" immunities, as well as granting them the ability to materialize "Duel Monsters" without the use of a device or any sort of technology and control them completely.
- Duel:
- The Twins were taught every summoning art: starting with Xyz, then Fusion (SCUM), Pendulum, Ritual and then Synchro. The Twins were given two to focus on each, giving them variety as well as a unique aspect when it came to comparing each other. The one left with Barih was Synchro. Being the closest thing to the regular humans from before, he bestowed upon them "Mini Particles", giving them access to higher forms of the summoning methods they had chosen, leaving the Synchro particles for him. After the twins mastered their two forms of summoning, in a handful of random decks created for them, Barih decided to have the GA find a way to harness the Linkium and form new cards with them. With this method, he had the Twins use their Dark and Light matter exposure, to create an ace card for each of them, based upon their own personalities and abilities, and using the G.As new method, created a deck based around those Ace monsters as well as giving them the ability to harness to the newly created "Link Monster". The Twins were rather "unamused" when they were given the EXACT same deck, with the only difference being their ace monsters. Of course he laughed at this, stating the two were a lot more alike than they realized.
- Mind:
- The sharpest minds were brought in from all over the universe in order to tutor the Twins. From the best generals, to the best professors. The Twins intellect grew quickly and unparalleled. They became efficient in various forms and excelled in near everything they started, such as strategy and the creation of blueprints for buildings, weaponry or ship schematics. With this intellect, they were pitted against each other in a match of chess, the pieces and board created by Barih. Little did they know that the chess was an actual "real-time" situation being carried out by the G.A and the criminals they captured. After the Twins realized this and found out they were not playing a game of sport, but a situation in which people’s lives hang in the balance, their intellect and focus was sharpened, and they both increased their ability to devise strategy in a more improvised way.
- Personality:
- Barih's vision for the Twins was that they would at the very least, be in a position to lead inside the G.A. Pawns cannot lead, and as such, Barih personally took the Twins to various planets, undercover and injected themselves into the daily lives and overall societies of these planets for years at a time, in order to find out all of the habits in both that planets general society, their government and their general way of life. They were raised as if they were Barih's own children, as according to him, he feared that if they were neglected and raised ONLY as soldiers, they would lack compassion, become cruel and sadistic. So with a fair hand, he treated the sisters with the love that a master would have for his disciples. After many years, and many planets, their training was over. The sister’s intellect grew to unfathomable lengths before Barih's eyes, with their personalities growing and changing to match. One became as fiery as the magma erupting from a Volcano, and the other as loose, unpredictable and self-changing as the Volatile temperature created during the time of calamity.
- Post Training:
- Having completed their training, the Twins were given access to the top command at the G.A, and also given the privilege to create their own Squad inside of the G.A, named BY Barih himself titled "The Raza". They were given their own spacecraft to match this honour, as well as a variety of other spaceships, their own hanger inside The Jackdaw and a variety of other benefits should the need arise for them. The choices for their squad were already clear, as they had people in mind that they had met throughout their time living on other planets, and hand selected them personally. Having told the G.A B.O.D about their decisions, the selected individuals were drafted into the G.A immediately. Before setting out for their first mission, Barih has asked the girls if they would take another on their squad. A new prototype android that the G.A needed testing. Of course, being asked by Barih (and not ordered), made them agree before he even finished his sentence. Although, before the girls could gather their squad and set out into space, they had one last "top secret" mission to conduct through Barih's orders.
- The Mission:
- The Twins were both instructed by Barih that there was one person left in the entirety of the universe that could defeat them specifically (excluding himself). One person was required to be defeated for the missions completion. This was not only a mission created in order to target and defeat this specific person, but also to challenge the both of them and create competition. The first sister to defeat their opponent, is the winner, and through such will be granted a power exclusive TO them. They considered it a race, so they took their targets individual coordinates and raced to their location.
Both of them were moving at the same speed and arrived at the same time, even though they were both at two different locations. They were expecting a heavy base, filled with soldiers that they would either have to sneak past or break through. There was nothing like this. It was a small ruin. Upon entering, it was dark, with a blue fire in the middle of the room and behind that, a figure in a dark robe. This figure turned to face them, before activating their Duel Disk, preparing for battle. Amber & Rose activated theirs at the same time (Unknown to each other) and began the duel confidently.- Amber's Duel:
- Turn 1: Amber. Amber's opening hand contains "Volatile Soldier", "Volatile Reviver", "Volatile Grenadier", "Volatile Blinker" and "Volatile Slasher". She Normal Summons "Slasher" (800/200). As "Slasher" was Normal Summoned, Amber activates its effect, allowing her to add "Magma-Eyes Volatile Dragon" to her hand. She then uses "Volatile Slasher" as Link Material in order to summon Link 1 - "Volatile Disciple"(1000/↓). She then activates the effect of "Volatile Disciple" to Special Summon "Volatile Reviver"(100/200) from her hand to "Volatile Disciple"'s linked zone. Using "Reviver" and "Disciple" as Link Material, she performs a second Link Summon, summoning Link 2 - "Volatile Booster"(1400/↙↘) in the Extra Monster Zone. Due to "Volatile Disciple" being sent to the Graveyard, its effect activates, allowing Amber to resummon "Volatile Reviver" from her Graveyard. She then uses "Reviver" and "Booster" as Link Material in order to perform an additional Link Summon of Link 3 - "Volatile Silencer"(2300/↙↑↘). Due to "Booster" being sent to the Graveyard, its effect activates, allowing Amber to resummon "Volatile Disciple" from her Graveyard. She resummons it to a zone "Silencer" points to, and due to the effect of "Silencer" its ATK is boosted by 500 Points("Volatile Silencer": 2300 → 2800). Due to controlling a face-up "Volatile" monster, Amber Special Summons "Volatile Soldier"(1900/200) from her hand to the other zone that "Silencer" points too, further increasing its ATK by 500("Volatile Silencer": 2800 → 3300). Amber's turn ends.
Turn 2: ???. ??? draws and then Normal Summons "Volatile Slasher" (800/200). For a moment, Amber was completely stunned that her opponent played a "Volatile" monster, before realizing that whatever she was facing was representing herself. What Bahir meant by "One foe that could defeat you", was herself? Or was it that she had to overcome her own limits? Regardless, she returned her focus onto the duel. As "Slasher" was Normal Summoned, ??? activates its effect, allowing them to add "Magma-Eyes Volatile Dragon" to their hand. Anticipating that this "fake" would copy her entire turn, she activates the effect of "Volatile Silencer": By tributing one monster linked to her card, she negates the effect of "Slasher" and destroys it("Volatile Silencer": 3300 → 2800). Due to sending "Disciple" to the Graveyard, its effect activates, allowing Amber to resummon "Volatile Reviver" into the same zone "Disciple" was before.("Volatile Silencer": 2800 → 3300). ??? Then proceeds to activate "Volatile Providence" in order to add "Magma-Eyes Volatile Dragon" to their hand. Amber then uses the effect of "Silencer" again, tributing "Volatile Reviver"("Volatile Silencer": 3300 → 2800). Due to controlling no monsters, ??? Special Summons "Volatile Sparker"(2000/200) from their hand. ??? then proceeds to use "Volatile Sparker" as Link Material in order to summon Link - 1 "Volatile Thrasher"(500/↓). Due to "Thrashers" effect, ??? can Normal Summon an additional time this turn. ??? Normal Summons "Volatile Molder"(1800/200) and then proceeds to activate its effect to return "Volatile Slasher" to their hand. ??? then uses "Thrasher" and "Molder" as Link Materials in order to Link Summon Link 2 - "Volatile Booster"(1400/↙↘). Due to "Thrasher" being sent to the Graveyard, ??? can use its effect to resummon "Sparker" to their field. Amber then uses the effect of "Silencer" to tribute the last monster in its Linked Zones in order to negate the effect of "Volatile Thrasher"("Volatile Silencer": 2800 → 2300). Since "Volatile Booster" is on the field, all MAGMA monsters gain 500 ATK("Volatile Silencer": 2300 → 2800),("Volatile Booster": 1400 → 1900). ??? uses "Volatile Booster" as Link Material and uses it to Link Summon Link 1 - "Volatile Crusher"(700/↓). The effect of "Booster" activates, allowing ??? to resummon "Volatile Sparker"(2000/200) to their field. Since "Volatile Booster" is no longer on the field, Amber's "Volatile Silencer" loses 500 ATK.("Volatile Silencer": 2800 → 2300). Since "Volatile Crusher" was Link Summoned this turn, ??? pays 500 LP(???: 8000 → 7500 LP) in order to Special Summon "Magma-Eyes Volatile Dragon" to its Linked Zone in Attack Mode. ??? attacks Amber's "Silencer" with "Magma-Eyes" (Amber: 8000 → 7300 LP). Since "Silencer" was destroyed, Amber revives "Volatile Disciple"(1000/↓). ??? attacks "Disciple" using "Volatile Sparker"(Amber: 7300 → 6300 LP). Amber uses the effect of "Volatile Disciple" to resummon "Volatile Silencer"(2300/↙↑↘). ??? uses "Volatile Crusher" and "Volatile Sparker" to Link Summon Link 2 - "Volatile Mage"(1800/←→). Due to "Volatile Crusher" being sent to the Graveyard, "Volatile Booster" is resummoned. ??? then uses "Volatile Mage" and "Volatile Booster" to Link Summon Link 3 - "Volatile Silencer"(2300/↙↑↘) in the extra monster zone. Since "Mage" was sent to the Graveyard, ??? can resummon "Booster" to a zone "Silencer" points too. Since "Booster" is on the field, MAGMA monsters gain 500 ATK.("Volatile Silencer": 2300 → 3300),("Volatile Booster": 1400 → 1900),("Amber's Volatile Silencer": 2300 → 2800),("Magma-Eyes Volatile Dragon": 3000 → 3500). ???s turn ends.
Turn 3: Amber. Amber draws. Her hand contains "Volatile Grenadier", "Volatile Blinker", "Magma-Eyes Volatile Dragon" and "Volatile Rematch". Since ??? controls a monster with over 200 DEF, Amber Special Summons "Volatile Blinker" from her hand to a Zone her Silencer points too. Since one monster was Special Summoned, the effect of ???s "Magma-Eyes Volatile Dragon" activates, lowering the ATK of "Blinker" for 200x Its level, and inflicting that much as damage("Volatile Blinker": 2100 → 1300),(Amber: 6300 → 5500 LP),("Amber's Silencer": 2800 → 3300). Amber activates the effect of "Blinker" in order to Special Summon "Volatile Soldier" from her Graveyard to a Zone that "Silencer" points too, however ??? uses the effect of their "Silencer" and tributes "Booster" to negate the effect of "Blinker" and destroy it.(???s "Volatile Silencer": 3300 → 2300),("Amber's Volatile Silencer": 3300 → 2300),(???s "Magma-Eyes Volatile Dragon": 3500 → 3000). Amber activates the Spell "Volatile Rematch" in order to resummon "Blinker" and "Reviver" in the Zones her "Silencer" points too. (Amber's "Volatile Silencer": 2300 → 3300). Since two monsters were Special Summoned at the same time, "Magma-Eyes" cant trigger its effect. Amber uses the effect of "Volatile Blinker" in order to resummon "Volatile Soldier"(1900/200) to her field. Since one monster was Special Summoned, the effect of "Magma-Eyes" activates("Volatile Soldier": 1900 → 1100),(Amber: 5500 → 4700 LP) Amber then uses "Volatile Blinker" and "Volatile Reviver" as Link Materials and use them to Link Summon Link 2 - "Volatile Scattershot"(2000/←↑) in the Zone below her "Silencer". Due to the effect of "Reviver", "Blinker" is resummoned to the Zone that "Silencer" points to. Since "Volatile Reviver" was Special Summoned, the effect of ???s "Magma-Eyes Volatile Dragon" activates ("Volatile Reviver": 100 → 0), (Amber: 4700 → 4600 LP). "Volatile Scattershot" gains 300 ATK for each "Volatile" monster with a different name in Amber's Graveyard. ("Amber's Volatile Scattershot": 2000 → 3200). Amber uses her "Volatile Silencer" to attack ???s "Volatile Silencer" (???: 7500 → 6500 LP). Since ???s "Silencer" was sent to the Graveyard, they attempt to use its effect to resummon Booster, however Amber activates the effect of her "Silencer", tributing "Reviver" to negate the Special Summon effect("Volatile Silencer": 3300 → 2800). Amber then attacks ???s "Magma-Eyes" with her "Scattershot" (???: 6500 → 6300 LP). She then uses "Volatile Soldier" to attack directly(???: 6300 → 5200 LP). Amber ends her turn.
Turn 4: ???. ??? draws. ??? Normal Summons "Volatile Slasher"(800/200) and then activates its effect to add "Volatile Necromancer" to their hand. ??? then uses "Volatile Slasher" as Link Material for a Link Summon of Link - 1 "Volatile Disciple"(1000/↓). ??? uses the effect of "Volatile Disciple" in order to resummon "Volatile Sparker"(2000/200) to its Linked Zone. ??? uses "Volatile Disciple" as Link Material for the Link Summon of Link 1 - "Volatile Magician"(900/↓). Since "Volatile Disciple" was sent to the Graveyard, ??? can resummon "Magma-Eyes Volatile Dragon", however this is countered by Amber using the effect of her "Volatile Silencer", tributing "Volatile Soldier" to negate the Special Summon effect("Volatile Silencer": 2800 → 2300). Due to the effect of "Volatile Magician", the Linked "Volatile Sparker" cannot be destroyed by battle, gains 500 ATK and DEF, and can attack 2 times per Battle Phase.("Volatile Sparker": 2000 → 2500). ??? attacks Amber's "Volatile Silencer" with "Sparker"(Amber: 4600 → 4400 LP), due to Amber's "Volatile Silencer" being sent to the Graveyard, she Special Summons "Volatile Slasher"(800/200) back from her Graveyard. Since "Volatile Slasher" was Special Summoned, Amber can add "Volatile Sparker" to her hand. ??? then attacks with their "Sparker" again, targeting "Volatile Slasher"(Amber: 4400 → 2700 LP). ??? Ends their turn.
Turn 5: Amber. Amber draws. Due to having "Reviver", "Silencer" and "Soldier" back in her Graveyard, the ATK of "Volatile Scattershot" increases by 900("Volatile Scattershot": 3200 → 4100). Amber attacks "Volatile Magician" with her "Volatile Scattershot"(???: 5200 → 2000 LP). ??? banishes "Volatile Providence" in their Graveyard in order to stop "Volatile Magician" from being destroyed by battle. Amber ends her turn.
Turn 6: ???. ??? draws. ??? Normal Summon "Volatile Necromancer"(1800/200) ??? uses "Volatile Necromancer" and "Volatile Sparker" as Link Materials in order to Link Summon Link 2 - "Volatile Scattershot"(2000←↑). Due to the number of "Volatile" monsters with different name in their Graveyard as well as the effect of "Volatile Magician", the ATK of ???'s "Volatile Scattershot" increases ("Volatile Scattershot": 2000 → 5500), also due to the effect of "Volatile Magician", "Volatile Scattershot" cannot be destroyed by Battle and can attack 2 times per Battle Phase but not directly. ??? attacks Amber's "Volatile Scattershot"(Amber: 2700 → 300 LP). ??? end their turn.
Turn 7: Amber. *Amber falls to her knees, blood slowly pouring down her chin.* Amber: I've... I've lost. There's nothing I have that can stop that. I'm beaten... *Amber attempts to give in, before remembering all her training and memories of her life. After which she slowly stands up, straight and regains her composure* Amber: No... I'm not letting it end here. Not after everything we've been through. Everything we've done to get to this moment right here! *Suddenly, Amber feels a presence in the back of her mind, like another consciousness granting her strength. Both of Amber's eyes gain a "Magma" like tint. Amber draws and sends a shock-wave throughout the small room. Since she controls no monsters, Amber Special Summons "Volatile Sparker"(2000/200) from her hand. Also, since she controls a "Volatile" monster, she Special Summons "Volatile Necromancer"(1800/200) from her hand. Amber then activates the effect of "Volatile Sparker" and tributes "Volatile Necromancer" and Special Summons "Volatile Scattershot"(2000/←↑). Amber then activates the Special Summon effect of "Magma-Eyes Volatile Dragon", by tributing 2 MAGMA monsters she controls with 2000 or MORE ATK, she tributes "Volatile Sparker" and "Volatile Scattershot". Since "Volatile Scattershot" was sent to the Graveyard, Amber Special Summons back "Volatile Silencer"(2300/↙↑↘) from the Graveyard. *Amber is then covered in a red/orange glow and aura.* Amber: Appear, the circuit that leads to the future! Arrowheads confirmed! The summoning conditions are Molten Monsters, minimum one!. I set the two Link Materials: Link 3 - Volatile Silencer and Magma-Eyes Volatile Dragon in the Link Markers! Circuit combine! Link Summon! Arise! Dragon with eyes of Red! As fiery as the Rage currently flowing through my heart! MY SOUL! NEO Magma-Eyes Volatile Dragon!(3500/←↑↓→ ). Amber attacks "Volatile Magician" with "NEO Magma-Eyes Volatile Dragon" (???: 2000 → 0 LP)
As ???'s Life Points hit 0, their body is covered in a black flame, as they quietly burn from existence. After they've gone, Amber notices a small unburnt piece of paper where ??? was standing, with the words "PASS" written on it, Amber smiles, before wiping the blood from her chin, and making her way back to The Jackdaw. Hoping her sister was doing the same.
- Rose's Duel:
- Turn 1: Rose. Rose's opening hand contains "Volatile-Eyes Magma Dragon", "Volatile Hothead", "Volatile Call", "Volatile Blinker" and "Volatile Intimidator". Rose activates "Volatile Call", adding "Volatile Sparker" to her hand. Due to controlling no monsters, Rose can Special Summon "Volatile Sparker"(2000/200) from her hand. Rose then uses "Sparker" as Link Material for the Link Summon of Link-1 "Volatile Disciple"(1000/↓). Rose then activates the effect of "Volatile Disciple" in order to Special Summon "Volatile Sparker" back from the Graveyard to the zone this card points to. Rose then uses "Volatile Disciple" and "Volatile Sparker" as Link Materials for the Link Summon of Link-2 "Volatile Booster"(1400/↙↘). Since "Volatile Disciple" was sent to the Graveyard, Rose can Special Summon "Volatile Sparker" back again from the Graveyard. Due to the effect of "Volatile Booster", the ATK of all MAGMA monsters on the field increase by 500.("Volatile Booster": 1400 → 1900)("Volatile Sparker": 2000 → 2500). Rose's turn ends.
Turn 2: ???. ??? draws. ??? Normal Summons "Volatile Soldier". Rose freezes for a moment once she sees that her opponent summoned a "Volatile" monster. At first assuming it was her sister, she started teasing ??? with no response, then realizing it wasn't her sister. Assuming it was either a clone of her or some "mirror" demon thing, she was immediately excited at the thoughts of dueling "herself". ??? activates "Volatile Sacrifice", destroying "Volatile Soldier" and drawing 2 cards. Since Rose controls a monster with over 200 DEF, ??? Special Summons "Volatile Blinker" from their hand. Treating "Volatile Blinker" as a Link Material, ??? Link Summons Link-1 "Volatile Thrasher"(500/↓). Using the effect of "Volatile Thrasher", ??? performs an additional Normal Summon and Normal Summons "Volatile Multiplier"(1400/200). Since "Multiplier" was Normal Summoned, ??? can Special Summon a MAGMA monster with 200 DEF from their Graveyard with its effects negated. ??? targets "Volatile Soldier"(1900/200). ??? uses "Thrasher", "Soldier" and "Multiplier" as Link Materials, and Link Summons Link-3 "Volatile Silencer"(2300/↙↑↘). Since "Volatile Thrasher" was sent to the Graveyard, ??? can resummon "Volatile Soldier" in one of the Zones "Volatile Silencer" points too. Also, since "Volatile Multiplier" was sent to the Graveyard, ??? can summon two "Volatile" tokens to their field. Using the two "Volatile" tokens, ??? Link Summons Link-2 "Volatile Mage"(1800/←→) to the other Link Zone of "Volatile Silencer". Since "Rose" still controls a monster with over 200 DEF, ??? can summon another copy of "Volatile Blinker"(1600/200) to their field. Using "Volatile Blinker" and "Volatile Soldier" as link materials, ??? Link Summons Link-2 "Volatile Scattershot"(2000/←↑), also due to the effect of Rose's "Volatile Booster" the ATK of all ???'s MAGMA monsters increase by 500.("Volatile Silencer": 2300 → 3300),("Volatile Mage": 1800 → 2300),("Volatile Scattershot": 2000 → 3700). ??? attacks Rose's "Volatile Sparker" with "Volatile Silencer"(Rose: 8000 → 7200 LP). Then ??? proceeds to attack "Volatile Booster" with "Volatile Scattershot"(Rose: 7200 → 5400 LP). Since "Volatile Booster" was sent to the Graveyard, Rose Special Summons "Volatile Disciple" back from the Graveyard. ??? attacks "Volatile Disciple" with "Volatile Mage"(Rose: 5400 → 4600 LP). Since "Volatile Disciple" was sent to the Graveyard, Rose Special Summons "Volatile Booster" back from the Graveyard.
Turn 3: Rose. Rose draws "Volatile Sculpter". Rose Normal Summons "Volatile Blinker"(1600/200). She then activates the effect of "Blinker", resummoning "Volatile Sparker"(2000/200) from the Graveyard. Rose then uses "Volatile Blinker" as Link Material in order to Link Summon Link-1 "Volatile Crusher"(700/↓). She then treats "Volatile Crusher as 1 Link Material for a Link Summon, summoning Link-1 "Volatile Magician"(900/↓). Since "Volatile Crusher" was sent to the Graveyard, Rose can Special Summon "Volatile Blinker"(1600/200) back from the Graveyard. Afterwards, Rose treats "Volatile Booster" as 2 Link Materials for the Link Summon of Link-2 "Volatile Scattershot"(2000/←↑). Since Rose has multiple "Volatile" monsters with different names in her Graveyard, as well as it being the effect target of "Volatile Magician", the ATK of "Scattershot" increases.("Volatile Scattershot": 2000 → 3400). Also, since "Volatile Booster" was sent to the Graveyard, Rose can Special Summon "Volatile Disciple" from her Graveyard. Using "Volatile Disciple", "Volatile Sparker" and "Volatile Blinker" on her field as Link Material, Rose can Link Summon Link-3 "Volatile Brutalizer"(2500/↙↓↘) and placed in the Zone "Volatile Scattershot" points too. Since "Volatile Disciple" was sent to the Graveyard, Rose can Special Summon "Volatile Sparker" back from the Graveyard. Since "Volatile Brutalizer" was Link Summoned, it allows Rose to draw a card for each monster linked to it. It has two monsters linked to it "Volatile Sparker" and "Volatile Scattershot", so Rose draws 2 cards. Since more monsters were sent to Rose's Graveyard, the ATK of "Volatile Scattershot" increases("Volatile Scattershot": 3400 → 3700). Rose then attacks ???s "Volatile Mage" with "Volatile Scattershot"(???: 8000 → 4200 LP). ??? decided not to Special Summon from the Graveyard in exchange for Rose's monsters to no longer be able to attack this turn. Rose's turn ends.
Turn 4: ???. ??? draws. ??? Normal Summons "Volatile Relic" and then activates the field spell "Volatile Volcano". Using "Volatile Relic" as a Link Material for a Link Summon, ??? Link Summons Link-1 "Volatile Crusher"(700/↓) to a Zone "Volatile Silencer" points to. Since "Volatile Relic" was Normal Summoned and left the field, ??? can Special Summon 2 "Volatile" monsters from their Deck to the field. ??? Special Summons "Volatile-Eyes Magma Dragon"(3000/200) and "Volatile Necromancer"(1800/200). ??? then uses the effect of "Necromancer" by discarding "Volatile Molder" and Special Summons "Volatile Soldier" from their Graveyard. ??? then treats "Volatile Necromancer", "Volatile Soldier" and "Volatile Crusher" as Link Materials and uses them to Link Summon Link-3 "Volatile Brutalizer"(2500/↙↓↘). Due to various effects on the field, the ATK of ???'s "Volatile" monsters increase.("Volatile Silencer": 2800 → 4300), ("Volatile Scattershot": 3400 → 5200), ("Volatile-Eyes Magma Dragon": 3000 → 3500). ??? attacks Rose's "Volatile Magician" with their "Volatile Scattershot"(Rose: 4600 → 800 LP). ??? then attacks Rose's "Volatile Mage" with "Volatile Silencer"(Rose: 800 → 500 LP). ???s turn ends.
Turn 5: Rose. *Rose collapses backwards before she is able to draw. Blood dripping down her face from the top of her head and more slowly coming out of her mouth.* Rose: Maybe dueling myself wasn't as fun as I thought...haha... It’s over. I've lost. To myself. To a fake of myself.... ha...ha...*Just as Rose begins to close her eyes, she hears a faint voice in her ears. "Fight." Rose begins to feel a consciousness in the back of her mind, as if something had just moved into a part of her brain. Giving her energy. Rose begins to stand, as her eyes change to a Red/Orange tint. Rose draws her card confidently and sends a shockwave across the small room. Since her opponent controls a monster in the Extra Monster Zone and she doesn't, Rose can Special Summon "Volatile Intimidator"(1600/200) from her hand. She then activates the continuous Spell "Volatile's Flame" which stops her monsters being targeted or destroyed by the opponents card effects on the turn they are Summoned. She then tributes her two monsters, with 200 or more DEF in order to Special Summon "Volatile-Eyes Magma Dragon" from her hand. *Rose is then covered in a red/orange glow and aura.* Rose: Appear, the circuit that leads to the future! Arrowheads confirmed! The summoning conditions are Molten Monsters, minimum one!. I set the two Link Materials: Link 3 - Volatile Brutalizer and Volatile-Eyes Magma Dragon in the Link Markers! Circuit combine! Link Summon! Arise! Dragon with eyes as cool as Space! With a body creating a fire of fear! MY SOUL! NEO Volatile-Eyes Magma Dragon!(3500/←↙↘→ ). Since the field spell "Volatile Volcano" is on the field, "NEO Volatile-Eyes Magma Dragon" has its ATK raised to 4000. Then by using its effect and lowering its ATK by 500, Rose can send "Volatile Silencer" to the Graveyard. ??? then uses the effect of "Volatile Silencer" to summon back "Volatile Crusher". Rose then attacks ???s "Volatile Scattershot" and by using its effect, negates its attack but takes control of the monster. Then, using the taken "Volatile Scattershot", Rose attacks "Volatile Crusher".(???: 4200 → 0 LP).
As ???'s Life Points hit 0, their body is covered in a black flame, as they quietly burn from existence. After they've gone, Rose starts to celebrate, before noticing a small unburnt piece of paper where ??? was standing, with the words "PASS" written on it. Rose starts screaming and jumping around in excitement, before taking a breath, wiping the blood from her face and skipping her way back to The Jackdaw. Hoping her sister was doing the same. Definitely hoping about the skipping part.
- Post-Mission:
- After their duels and making their way back to the Jackdaw, both sisters arrived at the same time. As they arrived,
they both looked at each other, smiled, and then began to make their way into the ship. As they began walking though, and talking to each other, they became suspicious as no one else was around. Over 17000 people on a ship, and they've yet to see one. Something wasn't right They made their way across the ship, searching for signs of life,
and seeing nothing. Eventually they made their way to the announcement hall to find...
Everyone. Clapping. They were called to, by the higher ups of the G.A,
and made their way to the front of the "crowd". They were introduced for "those who don't know." and told that they had exceeded every expectation and limit set upon them by the G.A and were now, currently, their greatest members. So, as of right now, as this was being broadcast to everyone planet that would accept it, The Twins were given the highest rank an operative can achieve inside the G.A as well as the ability to create their own team and focus on their own missions. Everyone clapped and cheered, as Rose was super excited with her hands on her hips, posing for the cameras, while Amber was standing proudly with a confident smile on her face.
Afterwards, they met Bahir who had stated that everyone they wanted on their team was either already here, or has agreed to come aboard but cannot be here physically. The Twins both smiles and high-fived each other, as they entered their new "Wing" of The Jackdaw and greeted their team. The Raza.
